Heart surgery in dog

In the LLU Veterinary Hospital has been performed heart surgery in dog - a balloon valvuloplasty for pulmonary valve stenosis. 

The patient had congenital pulmonary stenosis which is a constriction of the lung valves. Resulting of this pathology patient heart need a greater force to ejected blood from the heart crosses the narrowed area.

The operation was successful and at the moment the dog feels better!
